A bit about me
I could tell you how my journey began in Perth Scotland when I was only zero years old, but would you know me any better for it? I could tell you I now live and work in South Wales but you won’t know who I am from that. I could tell you I trained in aircraft maintenance, environmental engineering and lean operations and you may know a little about my interests. The way I see it, the journey only becomes the adventure in the telling of the tale.
My grown-up children believe I was a feral child of the ‘70s and ‘80s, brought up on experimental food, rubbish TV and a wayward disregard for personal safety. For them my life back then seems like a great adventure in a distant land, and when I tell them the tales of those days that’s what it becomes. We had freedom and innocence and building sites and damp Playboys found in the hedge. We blew things up, we built things and set fire to leaking gas mains with explosive consequences. A girl kissed me - and I kissed her back.
It’s all about the journey………..and the tales you tell about it. I want to tell you tales of magical things that can happen to anyone who dares to think them true. Tales that are happening all around us, unseen, unfolding before our blinkered eyes. I like tales where things happen, where people are forced into making choices, where they are challenged by the unexpected and even by the unexplained.
